I love Willowhope, such a good group of quirky characters, with so much love for each other.


Skylar has his sights set on Kingston, the quiet and gentle mountain of a man. But sweet Kingston cannot believe for the life of him that the vibrant and outgoing Skylar could be interested in him, so he doesn’t even entertain the notion. But fate has other ideas.  


But they have to get out of their own way and find out a few truths for their chance at love, and what is bound to be a fascinating future.

Synopsis

Skylar Reign’s life has been epic since moving to the small town of Willowhope.

His bestie is a psychic medium.

His mentor, a clairvoyant.

And his new interior design business kicked off with a bang.

All he’s missing is for Kingston Porter, his large, grumpy and completely oblivious friend, to realize that he wants to climb him like a tree.

The problem is, Kingston’s dream walking has gone from exploring the creepier parts of their little beach town to being drawn inside the mansion of a man he’s never met before, and it’s starting to consume his every waking thought.

Skylar’s nothing if not an optimist, and he isn’t ready to give up hope. He’s just not sure fate is still on his side.

There’s something more sinister going on than the two men realize, and it’ll take them working together to save the souls being tormented in their dreams.

But with the help of their meddlesome family, a handful of friendly ghosts, and a psychopomp or two, Kingston and Skylar are on the road to becoming the protectors they never knew they were destined to be.

About Sammi Cee

Sammi Cee was raised in a family of readers. Summer vacations consisted of a good book while sitting lakeside from as far back as she could remember. After growing up and having her own children, her appreciation of how the written word could transport you on an adventure, bring you to tears, or give you hope, took on a whole new meaning.


These days Sammi is watching her children develop into fine young ladies while doing the things she enjoys most: drinking coffee, eating chocolate, and writing her own stories.

  NOT NOT NORMAL by Peter E. Fenton Release Date: September 11, 2024 Review I don’t read a lot of YA, but if they were all like this, I totally would. Not Not Normal was a touching and uplifting story that anyone who wasn’t ‘normal’ in school could relate to. Finding the tribe of people, friends or lovers, that appreciate you just the way you are.  Jordan and Nathan are both pretty special guys and they make each other's lives so much bigger and more interesting, while also supporting each other, in the ways they can, through the big emotions and frustrations they are experiencing in their lives.  It was such a warm and rich read, and I love the ease in which you could connect with the characters.
