PATCHWORK

Ink Slingers - Book Three

by KM Neuhold

Release Date: August 8, 2025

Review

Perfection! Classic KM. A teddy bear of a biker/tattoo artist & a young hot rockstar with lots of (unnecessary) pinning.

They’ve been secretly hooking up for years, and dreaming of a future together, but both are being stupid and not talking about it. But now they have three months to be brave and ask for what they want.

It’s a fun story - their chemistry is strong, but their communication skills are nil. As they worry about wanting more but fearing being rejected, they keep missing the mark.  Until they both find their bravery and start fighting for what they want!

You’ll find lots of tattooed moments, a cat who's been through some things, and two men finding their perfect.

Synopsis

It's not a relationship, it's just a patchwork of tattoo sessions and sweaty secrets with a rock star. No big deal.

I've been keeping this secret for four years, counting down the months in between visits from Onyx.

To everyone else I'm “Hero” but he mostly just calls me “yes” and “more” while we trade heated kisses and wandering hands.

I know it won't ever be anything more than a wild secret and eventually he'll get bored hooking up with a tattoo artist fifteen years too old for him from Nowhere, Wisconsin. But I'm more than happy to enjoy this while it lasts.

But when Onyx shows up unannounced and tells me that instead of a hurried weekend we have 3 full months before he has to hit the road again, I don't know if I'm more excited or terrified to see where things will go.

I’m sure there’s more to life than tattooing Onyx and spending late nights talking until the sun comes up, but whatever that “more” is, it can’t be as fun as this.

No matter how hard I’m falling for him, there’s no way that he’s going to give up his rock star lifestyle to stay here with me… is there?

About KM Neuhold

Author K.M.Neuhold is a complete romance junkie, a total sap in every way. She started her journey as an author in new adult, MF romance, but after a chance reading of an MM book she was completely hooked on everything about lovely- and sometimes damaged- men finding their Happily Ever After together. She has a strong passion for writing characters with a lot of heart and soul, and a bit of humor as well. And she fully admits that her OCD tendencies of making sure every side character has a full backstory will likely always lead to every book having a spin-off or series. When she’s not writing she’s a lion tamer, an astronaut, and a superhero…just kidding, she’s likely watching Netflix and snuggling with her husky while her amazing husband brings her coffee.
