STORIES FROM QUEENS PARADE V2

Queens Crescent - Short Stories

by Kristian Parker

Release Date: February 14, 2025

Review

I really enjoy these little snippets of life on Queen’s Parade - it helps make it even more real and fulsome.  We get to see some of our favourites again, while also meeting the shop owners that have popped in other stories.

Their stories all contain a little bit of relationship drama, that speaks to who they are and their fears but helps them find a real and strong love. Like all of us, they make mistakes, jump to conclusions and buid walls to their hearts.

But mostly it’s fun to get glimpses of life beyond Queen’s Parade and see more men fall in love.

Synopsis

Queens Parade is a little shopping street just around the corner from Queens Crescent. In one of London’s most exclusive neighbourhoods, these shopkeepers have their own stories to tell. This world was originally a series of short stories for newsletter subscribers.

Bronson’s Bakers – Guy Bronson is stuck in a rut. Then he gets caught up one of Mrs Wimpole’s schemes and finds more than he bargained for.

Home is Where the Heart is – when Elias Koskinen has a chance to work with one of London’s most up and coming sculptors, he jumps at the chance. This could be worth more to him than just a commission.

The Cut Store – Jean-Paul and Sidney are given a mission. As arch-enemies, working together is either going to sink or swim. But what if it sparks?

A Novel Idea – Jolyon is quite happy with his life. But a chance encounter at a book club changes all that.

Ink Credible Tattoo Parlour – a mysterious client pushes tattoo artist, Leo, into the arms of handsome translator, Cez. But does their romance even stand a chance?

Valentines at Queens Crescent – Rodrigo has the perfect day planned for Simon. But then life has a habit of getting in the way.

About Kristian Parker

I have written for as long as I could write. In fact, before, when I would dictate to my auntie. I love to read, and I love to create worlds and characters.

I live in the English countryside. When I’m not writing, I like to get out there and think through the next scenario I’m going to throw my characters into.

Inspiration can be found anywhere, on a train, in a restaurant or in an office. I am always in search of the next character to find love in one of my stories. In a world of apps and online dating, it is important to remember love can be found when you least expect it.
