BLOG TOUR: The Killer Who Kept Me by Davidson King
They’re not going down without a fight.
The Killer Who Kept Me, an all-new hurt/comfort, MM, romantic suspense with dark themes from bestselling author Davidson King is now available!
Nothing about Em’s life is simple. He’s treated worse than
anyone in the house, punished for every minor infraction, and has zero chance
of ever escaping his current situation. He dreams that someday he’ll be free of
this nightmare and finally find someone who will want to keep him.
That dream may come
true sooner than he thinks.
Saros Tancredi is the most dangerous and powerful man in all of
Eastbury. The loyalty he has to his family is unparallel to anything else. When
he wants something, he gets it. He rarely worries and lives without fear. All
of that changes one night when he’s faced with his own mortality. When it seems
like it will all end, out of nowhere, a stranger jumps in and saves his life.
Saros and Em live separate lives in the underworld. Saros is the
most compelling man Em has ever known. Em is the savoir Saros never knew he
needed. When secrets long buried emerge in the midst of a current war, they
threaten to tear away any chance the two men have of finding a happy life
together.
One thing Saros
and Em know for sure—they’re not going down without a fight.

“What’s your name?”
“Why do you need my name?”
He licked his bottom lip. “Because I know I’ve seen you before, and I’m trying to place it. It’ll eat at me until I do.”
I don’t recognize you, and I’m sorry, I was only told to come here, ask for Cosmo, and tell him I was the pickup.”
“Is your name like Beetlejuice or somethin’, can’t say it three times?” He snorted at his own joke.
“No…”
“Great. Then tell me. You know I’m Cosmo; it’s only fair.
“This guy was like a kid. “Em, happy?”
His smile dropped immediately, and a shiver ran up my spine. That wasn’t happiness on his face.
“Em,” he whispered. “Is that short for something?”
“Yeah, but I like Em.”
“’Kay, yeah. All right, I’m gonna go see what’s keeping the Boss. I’ll be a minute.”
He left the room and the second the door shut I heard the lock. “Fuck.”
I placed the drink on the desk and rushed to the door. Yep, locked.
Where did this guy know me from to illicit such a reaction? I was practically invisible to the people Ramsey sent me to.
There were no windows in the office. I had to hope that when Cosmo returned, it would be with what I’d been sent here to get, and I’d be able to leave. I really didn’t want to spend Thanksgiving in the basement for being late.
It was about five minutes before the door swung open. First I saw Cosmo and I opened my mouth to ask the guy what his problem was, but another man came into view
“The man from the alley, my hopeful prince. As he stepped forward, power and danger radiated off him. His eyes widened as he met mine.
“I’ve been looking everywhere for you.” His voice was low, gravelly, and a bit sinful
You have?”
“Yes. You’re a hard man to track down, Em. But now you’re here, and there’s no way I’m letting you slip away again.”
Fuck. I was totally going to be spending Thanksgiving
in the basement.
