AUDIO REVIEW: Spotlight by Eden Finley (Famous #2)

Image
SPOTLIGHT Famous - Book Two by Eden Finley Release Date: July 16, 2020 Audio Release Date: November 17, 2020 Review The best meet cute is always when one insults the other!!  They are both charming men who are stubbornly holding to an ideology (for very good reasons) that would benefit from a bit of a different lens. And thankfully they help each other expand their world view. Their story is full of fun moments, tender support, lots of music and a mutual love for a very sweet young girl. I enjoyed this one immensely. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Ryder When I quit the biggest boy band on the planet, I was supposed to get my life back. It’s not that I wanted to leave the spotlight. I felt like I had to for my daughter. Her picture shouldn’t be splashed all over the tabloids. I thought I could do this parenting thing on my own, but it’s obvious I need help. I just didn’t expect to find it in the form of a gorgeous guy I meet by chance. I can put my attraction as...

AUDIO REVIEW: Every Missing Moment by Garrett Leigh (Rebel Kings MC #10)

EVERY MISSING MOMENT Rebel Kings MC - Book 10 by Garrett Leigh Release Date: January 11, 2024 Review If you’ve read the Rebel Kings MC series than you have to read/listen to this.  It’s snippets of different characters that provide insight into our beloved MC family, a chance to be reminded how much we love them, and why.  There are fun moments and sweet moments that prove their bond to their romantic partners and their friends/family.  My favourite is Alexei’s visit to his cousin's boyfriend. It’s an embodiment of how much I adore our Russian and how much he loves even if it’s not shown in a ‘normal’ way. He’s such a fantastic character. I highly recommend the audiobook version. Narrator Dan Calley is perfection in his ability to bring to life our men and woman.  Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Every Missing Moment. REVIEW: Chasing You by EM Lindsey (Words We Never Said #5)

Image
CHASING YOU Words We Never Said - Book Five by EM Lindsey Release Date: December 27, 2024 Review Adele and Kash have a seriously beautiful and touching story.  I mean they are idiots - pining for 20 years without telling each other, making themselves miserable in the process, but even still, it’s everything you could want from a story, especially an EM Lindsey story. A few teary moments, a lot of laughs (Gage, Lucas, and Rex all steal my heart) and a whole lot of love. Kash has been dealt a blow, but he has Adele to turn to, even if it takes him a while to really lean on him. What better way to find your way forward in a new life, than with your other half there to hold you up (sometimes literally)? Adele never learned how to live for himself. Instead living for his son and holding on to his secret love for his best friend. It’s time he got the family he deserves. A truly wonderful story that has my full heart.   EDGE OF CONTROL Stonewall Investigations: Midnight - Book One by Max Walker Release Date: December 27, 2024 Review Do you like your men to have some questionable morals? Like to wonder how they could possibly find a happy ending when an investigator falls in love with the very killer he’s chasing?  M. REVIEW: For Fake's Sake and Other Stories by JJ Harper

Image
FOR FAKE’S SAKE AND OTHER STORIES by JJ Harper Release Date: December 27, 2024 Review A collection of wonderful short stories with some wonderfully diverse pairings that will make swoon and fan yourself. Some fake dating, some daddy’s, and some sweet men finding love.  I enjoyed them all but I think Elliot and Noah are my favourites. Age gap, different worlds, but both equally strong personalities, they have to work for it a bit, but it’s definitely worth it in the end. They are definitely a strong match and you can’t help but cheer when it all works out. Read them all at once or sprinkle them amongst other books. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Three short stories of love found when it’s least expected. For Fake’s Sake When Ollie bumps into his old school bully, Monty, in a bar, he soon finds himself a speaker at a school gala. Not only that but after Monty sees him with a man, it seems he has to find a boyfriend to accompany him. Enter Jack, the stranger from ...
