A WILD THING GROWS

Release Date: Dec 13, 2022

Review

What a lovely mystical/magical short story, where the earth provides love from the shunned and poorly treated Jarek.

He’s been forced to live in the forest, alone. The towns folk barely tolerate him when he comes in search of supplies or to sell his produce. But he has nature. Which he loves wholeheartedly. In turn, he is rewarded with a beautiful man for a season that fills his world with love and warmth. But will he be lucky enough to get more than just one season?

An excellently crafted quick story with love and light and beauty. Jarek and Aviv are sweet and joyous, and I really loved it.

Synopsis

Jarek has been an outcast all his life. Unwanted by his village, he’s starved for touch and love—until a strange, naked man named Aviv comes crashing through the snow and into his life.

Suddenly, Jarek’s winter is filled with warmth…but he knows it won’t survive the season. There is no way he could ever deserve someone as bright and loving as Aviv, even as their relationship flourishes into something deeper, more heated.

What Jarek doesn’t know is that there is magic at play here. For the first time in his life, he might get exactly what he deserves.…

This is a cozy short story to warm you up during these cold nights.
